Something from my QT about Kindness.
Psalm 41:1-3
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;
the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.
2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life;
he will bless him in the land
and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed
and restore him from his bed of illness.
Kindness is literally love in action, showing genuine friendship to others by regarding them as important in God's sight and worthy of dignity and respect. It involves treating others with courtesy, lending enocuragement, and freely offering yourself or your resources to help a person in need, no strings attached.
well, i hope that since our group is called Kindness, we can try and emulate some of the qualities of being Kind.
oh we are having trouble finding a place for retreat. any suggestions?
so far aranda, changi point, 3rd place, the kovan house, sentosa chalets, NSRCC are all fully booked for july.
