Hi! I'm back from Hong Kong.

Anyway, this Sunday (30th July) is Christalite Chapel's Anniversary.
Service will start at 945am, but please be at church by 930am.
If you can, please try to dress up a bit, Anniversary is only once a year and its a special occasion for our church.
There will be lunch catered in the canteen after service.

kindness retreat

thanks to everyone who made time to come down for our retreat. sandra and melody! we really missed u! anyway, hoped that you guys gained something from this retreat. im off to Hong Kong! tata.'

CG RETREAT

meet at 5pm at GMPS, Chai Hwa will bring you all there.

Anyone who will be late, meet us at Scripture Union, Sentosa. Call any leader if u need help finding the place.

Things to bring
1) clothes
2) medication
3) money- at least $30
4) bible
5) writing materials
6) toiletries- shampoo, towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc
7) games- cards, ball, etc.
8) sleeping bag- if u want / optional, there will be beds.
9) mugs
10) insect repellent

you will be dismissed from GMPS on Sunday at 2pm.

Hey, just wanna share something from my QT. its a new perspective that i've learnt. and something that applies to me- alot.

Bible verses: Mark 4: 13-20 (A story about planting seed)

In an obedient heart there is a way prepared for God. There are many Christians who always seek pleasure and satisfaction for themselves. These have not yet learned that only obedient children are happy children. That which in truth brings abiding happiness is nothing else than obedience towards God.

Why have so many of God's lamb so little assurance of salvation? Why are their souls not satisfied with the peace of God? God gives that answer in Isaiah 48:18.

It is not faith which is lacking, for even with a trembling hand one can receive costly gifts. It is rather obedience which is lacking. There is something in their lives that they will not let go, which hinders the Holy Spirit from giving them the assurance that they are God's children.

No one who is disobedience to God can have confidence in Him. Confidence is a result of obedience.

Hi guys, I'm back!

Retreat Details:
Venue: Scripture Union, Sentosa
Date: 21st July (Friday) evening till 23rd July (Sunday) after lunch

We'll give u guys consent forms this sunday. do ask ur parents in the meantime. For those who cannot go due to parental objection, ask whether u can attend sat and sunday's programme. not necessary to stayover.

Reminder: This week is YOUTH Sunday. Pls come at 930 for service in the Audi. After service is Games Day followed by Lunch at the canteen.
