Foodfair Preparation dates

Take note of these dates and time and let me know whether you can make it ok?
1/9 (Fri)- Singpost at 1pm
- to go NTUC to buy the food that we need; after that my place to prepare the deco for the foodfair
2/9 (Sat)- GMPS canteen at 9am
- to put up the banner and deco for foodfair
- after that, my place to cook! :)
3/9 (Sun)- Canteen at 7.30am
- FOODFAIR!
K have a great week ahead in school! :)
P.s. badminton was fun. heh.

Wow! my internet was down for a few days and i missed so much!

Hello my precious babies!
heh. Did i tell you how proud i am that you guys helped with the banner (linz and sm too!) and planned for the foodfair so well that sunday? :)
As you know, friends and family are invited to this foodfair and they may not know the place very well. SO ad suggested putting arrows/ footprints from the foyer to the canteen!
Which do you think is better? arrows or footprints?
heh anyway bring scissors this sunday as we'll be cutting them!!

Hi, hope you are using the Daily Bread that we gave you on Sunday for your QT.
Just want to point out some parts which i thought were very relevant and tied up really nicely with our lesson on Man created for God's Glory.
He loves us so much that He chose us despite our imperfections. Through the Holy Spirit's work in our lives, He nutures and transforms us into His glorious image. Next time you are with family, friends, and co-workers, don't focus on imperfections. Instead, look for rosebud potential.
God, help us see in those we meet
The likeness of Christ's image there
And may those traits that are like His
Grow stronger from our love and care.

Just wanted to share something with all of you about prayer :)
At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when usually what God wants is just a simple obedience and faith in Him.
By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves mountains.
When everything seems to go wrong... just P.U.S.H.!
When the job gets you down... just P.U.S.H.!
When people don't react the way you think they should... just P.U.S.H.!
P.U.S.H. = Pray Until Something Happens
Remember that God's timing is not the same as your timing.. so just have faith and keep praying! :)
I hope that all of you can try to share what you learnt from your QT or other experiences on this blog..
Let's grow in the Lord together as a loving CG!!

my thumb hurt
i was jumping form a staircase and i fell on a wet floor. my tumb hurt with blueblack. When i bend it, it hurt. i can't do much work with an injured thumb. Please pray for me for a speedy recovery. Thank you.

pray for me and what i learn today
there was a big fight with my bro last tue, i did my laundry and i tranfer my bro laundry to the dryer with my hand not wash. when he came back, he ask me "did you wash your hand before doing my laundry" i lied to him at first, but when he told me to use the bible to swear to god i told him the truth. Then he stop my laundry to wash his laundry again. there i stop him and start my laundry again. Then he punch me and i punch back and that when the fight started. Then my bro start to use weapon then i use the laundry basket to hit the floor with anger non stop while the basket start to fall into broken pieces. Then we stop using weapon and started to punching each other. Then he know he was in the losing end and he stop fighting and punching me and i stop it too. He then sit on the floor saying" fine, you win, start your laundry."the fight last for 30 mins. Please pray for me charles and my bro, Clement. So that we can live in harmony. Jon please give me some advice as you have many bro and sis in your family. Wow, my first time writing here.
From church today, from the sermon, i learn to give offering as you will feel happier and what make me go wild is that god will bless us more and he will give us more things. So i will give god $1 a month in the white letter. It may be a small amount but. It is the first step to giving god more like $110, $300 or $1000. Thank god for the word today.

Sep 3 Food Fair
Hey everyone, our theme for this year food fair is MISSIONS!!! The money tt we raised will be goin to next year's mission trip (most probably Korea or Jap- i forgt) Hopefully, your can go for the trip. For our cg, we are goin to do food related to Thailand. So, in our stall we must do a short write-up abt thai. Can be their culture, food.. basically anything la. erm.. and try to be CREATIVE cos it plays a part whether we can win. CREATIVE in the sense tt hw we are promoting the theme MISSIONS. For eg, a bible verse on missions will be printed on our plates & given out to the ppl but you cant use dis idea cos its taken. or perhaps, speaking in simple thai language or by wearing their costumes? so do share abt ur ideas:)

My internship is over! i'm so happy! :) went for massage and steam bath today.. so relaxed i could fall slp now. heh.
Anyway.. my house is open this friday for anybody who wants to come! can come and study, play, scream at the dog or clean my room.. anything u want! Just let me know if u can make it!
For those with exams and tests coming.. do study hard! and don't forget your memory verse! do u guys still have the card? bring it along this sunday k? don't forget!
